Hello i was curious if anyone has a quick fix. My fuel guage was reading low/not existent. At first i thought it might have come out of the track because i have read into them and have read they liked to do that. I also read about reading resistance which i got at 90.5 aka lowest reading. I have gone through the trouble of getting it out via taking the steering off and shimying it out and have found the guage works perfectly.

The peice itself with the malignant works but it will not float. I ran a test on it and put it into water and gas and both occasions it slowly sank to the bottom. Is there any quick fixes anyone knows about to get it to float like its suppose to. It would be a shame if i had to buy some expensive replacement because the damn thing just doesnt float.
