1997 not starting

When the start button is pressed all I hear is a click. A couple of days ago she started fine on the trailer but when I put her in the water a couple of days later you could just here a click when the start button was pressed. The battery is charged. The solenoid seems fine (showed voltage when the start button was pressed) and the two fuses are good. I found that one of the 4 wires (yellow/brown) in that 4 plug on the wire harness was corroded just wondering if this could be the cause. Any suggestions??

Sounds like the starter have given up.

You can get a rebuild kit cheap... and rebuilding an old factory starter is better than the $70 specials from eBay.
