1997 GTX bilge pump option

So I was investigating the wiring that the PO had for the bilge pump. Looks to be a factory option from back in the day. The power wire is currently running up from and is tied into a connector with the Purple/tan as the power. Looking at the print, it goes to the alarm. Seems odd. It does look like a factory connector though. I'm wondering if anyone has the factory SB or instructions for this pump to see if the wiring is what was called out or not.

Seems to me, the bilge pump should go directly to the battery with a fuse. Potentially a switch if i want to be able to interrupt power when sitting. Though, in theory it should not draw any power when not pumping water.

I'm not seeing it called out on the print, but is there an accessory jumper to interface to?

I don't think it was a Seadoo genuine accessory back in the day but I could be wrong. I know it was never from the factory.
If it was me I would do as you said and wire it directly to the battery with a waterproof switch and fuse.

I'll plan on that.

I also have a volt meter and depth gauge attached to the same wire. It's got about a 1.2 volt drop as compared to actual battery voltage. Such i researched the purple/tan wire, and it goes to the buzzer and the front electrical box. Trying to see if there is another powered accessory spot to tie that stuff to. I'm not seeing one. Looks like i may need to go to the Purple/Rd wire which ties to the battery; but will need to install a switch as it looks like the power there would be constant and not switched.
