i have a 1997 seadoo gti that runs great but randomly stalls im guessing due to an electrical short. rough water, smooth water, diffrent throttle positions never a same occurance. when it stalls the fuel gauge goes to empty and there is no power. you need to disconnct the safty lanyard and reconnect then restart i have two keys that both are clean that do the same thing i dont see any loose or corroded wires. should there be an alarm that sounds when you attach the key i see the high temp alarm how can you test that without making it overheat.

You can test the overheat buzzer simply by touching wire end to *plug ground lug.
Do you have water in rear electric box?

no water in rear box. buzzer is bad. i wired a spare buzzer off of my boat. should there be a beep when you initialy plug in key. how do you do the diagnostic test i see some are talking about or is that only on newer models
