1997 GS Carburetor Replacement

The Mikuni carburetor on my 1997 GS has a broken flange. I have been trying to find a replacement online but the ones I'm finding have extra hoses attached, which is different than the original on my 720 Rotax. Does anyone know of differing carb types for this model and year. The information that I have located calls for a 270500297/BN 401 38 15. The picture on the left is my carb and the picture on the right is what I can find online using the part numbers I listed.
Thank you in advance

The only ones available new are the ones with the accelerator pump.
If your 1997 uses a single carb then the new accelerator pump will work great.
Just make sure you use the updated jetting....
Main Jet 167.5
Pilot Jet 75
2.0 Needle and seat
115 gram spring
LS Screw 1 turn out
HS Screw 0 turns (closed)

I just put accelerator pump carb in my 97 GS. It came fully assembled. Did not know about the high and low speed screws changing settings, currently have them set to stock and runs ok. But will shut off at full throttle sometimes. Is that in the manual anywhere or just what changes with the pump. Thanks.

It should never "shut off at full throttle" you will kill the engine that way if it is running lean.

Check the jetting that I posted. Don't trust what a new carb "comes with".

Mikidymac, Thank you for the information on the jetting of these newer carbs.

Wil6gl, where did you purchase your new carb and about how much did you pay?

Thank you both.
