Hello guys, so im new to the Seadoo boat world. Just got a 1997 Challenger 1800 with the twin rotax 100 motors. ~95 hours on the boat, both original engines and had the carbs rebuilt last year (or so sayd the prev owner).
Anyway i drained all the oil and gas and put in new oil and fresh 91 gas. Both engines start up right away and stay runing. The issue im having is the right engine starts to die out and lose rps @ about 3500 rpms when i accelerate. But, i noticed if i accelerate it to the point (around 3.5k) where its about to bogg out and catch it before the engine dies the rpm will flicker for a sec to 4k rpm and i can accelerate it past if i catch it quickly enough then its normal untill i slow down to a idle and i have the issue again.
The left engine works perfectly and accelerates up and down and in reverse great.
both engines seem fine to me in neutral and both start right up in and out of the water.
After doing a search on the forums im thinking it may be a throttle adjusment with the levers ... or carb adjustment i need to make? maybe a fuel line issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys! Thanks in advance.
