Ah, sorry I forgot to update the thread !

Yes, the MPEM fixed the issue.

I took it to the lake and found out I had a bunch of water leaks.

Yes, West Point lake and Lake Eufaula (my hometown lake) are where I ride. I work just a few mins from the lake and try to ride after work during the week.

The water leaks should be fixed, the previous owner pulled off the intake grate and didn't replace the bolts....

I knew the grate was missing before I purchased it. Didn't think to check the bolts...duh!

Id be all over that thing for that price here! I paid 1400 for my gsx knowing it needed engine work. They just don't come up for sale in this area offen. My friend offered me $3500 for it last week and I turned it down cause there's no way in hell I could replace it for that much up here

I had a guy drive 10 hours down from canada to pick up a 94 spx from me with a nasty hull, blown up motor, and bad electronics for 200$. He had a hude boat trailer and a big truck with bunks in the bed modified to hold about 10 skis in total. He said he would just drive down here to the states and buy up skis and take them back to canada. Sorry to get off topic.
