I have some questions on the antifreeze piece of winterizing...

Mix or Not??
Manual says use 60% antifreeze mixture to pour in - Many posts on this site say just pour in straight antifreeze, which should be done?

Correct Antifreeze??
I have the RV/Marine labeled antifreeze from Walmart. Manual says use antifreeze designed for aluminum engines, am I ok?

I am planning on using the process of the manual that states to NOT let the antifreeze drain out, but tie up the 2 disconnected hoses at a level higher than the engine so the antifreeze does not drain out.

I use the kind made for marine use. The pink RV type usually is just for plumbing and yes it wont freeze, but it has no rust inhibitors in it. The marine type is usually better. I dont dillute it with water because it will mix with the water currently left in the system.

Just make sure not to use automotive type. it is nasty stuff and bad for all wildlife and fish.
