manolocross Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2011 #2 Before you go out and buy a coil....cut the spark plug wire back about1/4" at the spark plug boot(first remove the spark plug boot) then reinstall boot and check for spark...the spark plug boot just spins off...

Dr Honda Well-Known Member Jun 22, 2011 #5 When you are checking for spark... do you have the other wire grounded? That ski fires both plugs together, and they balance each other. If you truly, have no spark on one line... then you have an internal short in the coil.
