1996 SeaDoo I got for free

I got a 1996 GTI 3-seater SeaDoo for free. It was a victim of Hurricane Katrina and was hauled off to junk. Since then, it has sat in a family members garage and now I have it as of this weekend.


I'll point out the things that are obviously bad:
The electronic box is gone.
The engine is most likely no good..
The steering is frozen.
Throttle frozen.
The rest of the mechanical is currently unknown.

Is this thing worth restoring, or should I simply just part it out?

If I restore it, I am capable of doing all the work myself.

Yeah...I went through the list of obvious things to buy, and the cost would be a minimum of $2k and I found a 98 STX local for $1800 with a new motor garage kept.
