You will see when you take it out...they get gummed up and hard as hell or next to impossible to clean thoroughly from the "grey tempo lines", that gel travels throughout the fuel system..new ones are $20-$25 so it's simply worth it to change it out. And once you change it out it should not be a regular maintenance item..

Great job! Those are a bitch. Now get em clean. Make sure you spray through the pilot jet and open the butterflies to get the 3 tiny holes completely clean. READ the carb adjustment sticky at the top of this forum. And reuse your springs. Do not use new ones from the kits.
Looks good, but sorry to say those grips are going to limit you from going full throttle
I'm referring to the flange. I bet you already knew that and had plans to take it off or cut it off, but just thought I'd mention it so you're not disappointed when you take it out. My friend had an SPX with grips like those, and you could barely get it over 50% throttle.
