I bought a 96 Seadoo challenger and I’ve had to put a starter on it, got it to fire up but it’s only running on one cylinder. It DOES run smooth if I shoot it with some primer button fuel but then it goes back to one cylinder.
- Fuel lines are clear.
- Carbs we’re already clean but I cleaned out.
- Spark plugs are black and almost drip wet.
I work on auto and diesels but this is new to me.
with the plugs being wet and black maybe I have too much oil to the cylinder? The guy premixed 40:1 on top of the oil tank still being connected supposedly. He wasn’t the brightest.. I poured in straight unleaded to replace his mix but it’s still turning out the same. Black wet plugs and one cylinder not firing until I hit primer..
