i just bought a 1996 gti seedoo the man i bought it from said he was boosting it off and blowed the 5 amp fuse and said it ran good . i did not crank it first i paid 800 dollars and left .i got it home and bought a new battery and installed it. no fire any where no lights want turn over with button nothing. i can jump the selonoid and it spends over good no fire . the five amp fuse is not blown . just no fire any where . i was looking on internete and ran across this site when trying to read up on it. i dont see any visable signs of being burnt on mpem . i hooked test light to selonoid and touched the 2 wires on the solonoid they are both grounded . i checked the top wire on the coil it is dim i spin it over and it gets bright .i a m getting fire from starter button. i checked all connections and they are tight. i contacted the man who repairs the mpem and waiting for another reply any other info would much be appreciated.
