1996 GTI Cavitates

At start up the RPM spin up but the SeaDoo does nothing but bubbles??? I have to re-start to get the jet to work. Top speed is 45 which seems low...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, the key (kill tether) shuts off at high speed. Is there a quick fix to solidify the key???

Replace the wear ring and get the impeller redone and you should be fine.
