OK so like the title says, I’ve searched the form and I found a bunch of stuff, and I think I know what to do. But I just want to ask a couple more opinions. So the problem is, I replaced all the tempo fuel lines, replaced the fuel filter/housing, Replace the spark plugs, and that’s about it.
But before I go to far let me tell you what I did over this past weekend, I bought a jetski from a guy on the Facebook marketplace. They sounded great out of water and I didn’t even think to test them in the water stupid me. I did however get a half a good deal on them so I don’t want to complain too much.
Anyways so I take it down to the lake & let it warm up, it has premixed gas, and the oil tank is still there. But it’s like I have no throttle, I squeeze it down get about 10 miles an hour, and it’s just like it’s bogging and not revving. So I searched the forum and decided to replace all the stuff that I just told you I did. I did a compression test and I got 140 on mag side, and 142 on PTO side. But still no throttle response in the water.
So sorry if the story is too long, but I guess is it time for carburetor rebuild or my looking at this wrong. Is there something else I should check before I go pull in this thing off and rebuilding it.
