Hi, I'd like to know if the picture of the hose with the T-connector and the red cap is where I can hookup a garden hose to run my jets kit out of water?
There's also 2 other similar hoses connected to the exhaust and run to the back of the ski. I did search and didn't find any exact information on this particular setup.
Thank you for any feedback.

(I've rebuilt the carb and want to verify it runs OK before driving to the lake and it not operating properly.)

Yes, the red tee is where you connect the flush kit to run on the hose but you still have to clamp the hose that goes to the rear or all the water from the Tee will go out the back instead of into the engine.

ALWAYS! Have the engine running with the hose on. You should never have the water on and the engine off or the water will backflow into the cylinders and mess up the engine.

You are perfectly fine running the ski on the trailer with no water to make sure it will run. Just don't let it run for more than a minute or get so hot you can't touch the engine. You really only need to run on the hose to flush out salt water or sand if you beach it.

Finally use some Castrol SuperClean or Purple Power to clean the inside of your hull. Makes maintenance much easier without all the oil and dirt.

Thank you so much for the clear reply! That's super helpful information and good to know. I'll probably have other questions since this ski needs a few things. But one thing at a time.

What fluids need to be changed. Is there oil that needs to be changed around the impeller? Thanks for the help.

Yes, pump oil should be changed and make sure you are running the correct API-TC rated injection oil. Always good to do a full carb and fuel system rebuild and change the small 3/32" oil injection lines and inline oil filter.

Thanks for the information about changing the oil pump. I've just rebuilt the carb and the person I bought it from changed the fuel lines. I'll change the inline oil filter now. I'm loving this forum.

Make sure he used genuine Mikuni parts and new needles and seats and didn’t change the pop off spring. You should also replace the fuel selector and fuel strainer o-ring.

When I rebuilt the carb last week I used the same pop off spring that was in the carb. All the rubber o-rings and seals were changed with new ones.

Just be sure it was all genuine Mikuni parts or you will have trouble and be doing it again.
