i put a used starter in my sisters sea doo and i charged up the battery it has been sitting for about a month and a half since the last time we took it out and the old starter broke because the support bracket was not on it but i got a used one and put it in and now it just makes noise and the engine will not move!!!

any suggestions??

Welcome to the seadoo forum. Be sure the battery wires are clean and tight. Check the ground that it is clean and making a good connection near the starter. If it looks good it still might need a new end. If all looks good remove the spark plugs attach the spark plug caps on the grounding studs . See if it spins over. If not, it might be seized. If that's the case let me know and we'll go from there.

Go get some PB Blaster from like Walmarts or Auto Zone Spray it inside you cylinders in the spark plug holes. Let it soak for a bit. In the rear of the engine is a boot by the drive shaft. I think on that model you can get a pipe wrench on the shaft under the boot. Carefully see if it will turn with hand pressure on the wrench. See if you can get the shaft to spin over in a counter clockwise direction with the spark plugs out.
