The manual for winterizing with antifreeze the 657 engine describes disconnecting the water inlet, water outlet and drain hoses, clamping the water injection hose and filling the water inlet hose with antifreeze. It then recommends leaving the hoses elevated and the clamp in place. Clymer's manual describes the same procedure but says you can reconnect the hose and remove the clamp letting some fluid drain out but enough will be left to protect the system. Is it safe to reconnect the hoses and remove the hose clamp for the winter so it is ready to go in the spring?
