Hi, got a 1995 GTX in which my son accidentally tore off the wind deflector that sits on top of the front storage compartment. It's Seadoo part 4 (Teal Green). My questions is....if I remove the caulking, fill in the slot holes and repaint that area....would it make sense to do that? Anyone ever do that? I can't find one used readily here locally...was going to order one off EBay, but wanted anyone thoughts about cleaning up that area and just going without one.
