1994 spi drive shaft issue?

okay latest problem...

I was on the Fraser river yesterday and was left stranded on the side ( I eventually got it out). I was riding along and it basically lost 90 percent of its power and started making a screeching noise. I suspected I had stripped the splines on the drive shaft but I don't think that's exactly the problem. I pulled apart the pump housing and in the end cap there was what seemed to be a bunch of bearings. trying to pin point the issue. ill post a few pictures. hoping someone can easily say what's up. thanks!!

Time for a full pump rebuild. If the liner is okay then skip that part, but bearings, seals and impeller shaft need to be replaced.

Where is the pump oil in the picture.....

Yeah I’ve started to figure that upon further investigation. I just replaced the wear ring a few rides before this.

I’ll just have to source out the tools to do the pump rebuild.

The pump looks dryish inside. There should be oil dripping out.

there was some that I cleaned out a bit prior. But it defiantly didn’t pour out as it should. I’m sure that’s what caused the bearing failure.
