1994 Seadoo Spi hull question

I hope someone can help with this question. I just bought a 1994 Seadoo Spi. I was looking for the drain plug and couldn't find it. I did however find a perfectly round hole in the hull about the size of a dime. It is located parallel to the jetdrive inside the little tunnel on the drivers side hull. I googled drain plugs for this year and it shows the same kind that my 96 uses that screws out of a housing. The thing is there are no screw holes where the housing would have been attached. All it has is this dime sized hole. It's hard to believe that hole should be there without some kind of plug in it. Any insite on this would sure be appreciated.

I have 1996 SPI and the plug is on the left side inside the tunnel. About an inch or 3 inside. That is the only plug I have seen and I looked around some. LOL My Ski is new to me also and it is a 96 so that info may not be what you are looking for. Good Luck !

The older skis just use s standard rubber boat plug, not the threaded plastic ones.
