1994 gtx no start

Hi all,

I have a 1994 GTX that i'm having problems with. It has 130 compression
both cylinders, getting fuel, and plugs are getting fire. It acts like it wants
to start but won't.

The last time I had it out it started right up rode about 50 yards to dock
shut it off and would not start again. The fuses in the box are good,battery is fully charged, changed fuel filter & hoses, changed plugs.

Any suggestions on what to look at next?

Have you tried fresh fuel?

Yes, fresh fuel, and new plugs.
Would it be possible tht the timing is off ?

Carbs

Have you rebuilt the carbs??? There is a little filter in the carb that gets clogged with all the crap from the old fuel lines, you need to check the selector switch to, I had tha cause a problem on my 94 so I just bypassed it..

I have not rebuilt the carbs, i feel it was running to good to be a carb problem,
but i will check the selector switch and the filter in the carb.
