1993 gtx starter

I have a 1993 gtx that has been in the shop for almost 6 months now. The problem we are having is finding the rite size starter. i have ordered a starter for a 1993 gtx but it is to small and the ones that the shop has ordered are to small so i guess whoever had it before me did an engine swap. In the picture is the 1993 gtx starter but the size i need is bigger. The holes need to be on the outside of those holes. Does anyone have any idea what type of starter i should get? There is basically only 2 starters for the small SeaDoo family. (720 and down) There is a 9 tooth, and an 8 tooth.

As I recall, 94 is the break-off year, so you probably have a newer engine.

The one that i have that was supposed to fit is a 9 tooth. Does anyone know what year starters are wider?
