1992 seadoo xp electrical problum

ok im getting help from you guys and thanks and i think i am getting close.problum is ski running great than shuts down i no it is electrical if i disconect wire from mpem to coil it will start put this is not helping me figure it out so i am not going to do this until any one gives me ideas on what to check and how.disconnect mpem starts plug mpem back in to coil runes great than stops i replaced mpem with a used one that tested out ok can i have a short in the starting solinod, coil,lanyard and stop butten was ok put can eather one short out every now and than put if thay did i dont think the start switch would work even if i pulled the mpem/coil wire.HELP!!!

You may have an exhaust leak. Probly at the stinger connection. Bills86e

Carbon Monoxide can fill the enclosed compartment and asphyiate the motor.

Ride with seat off, and see if it dies or keeps running. Bills86e
