so, my 1990 has a faulty ignition switch. it only completes the relay occasionally, and it sometimes it won't break the connection. so, obviously i need a new one or to fix it, but on this website, it's $107 for the switch. my jetski probably is only worth about $300. So, does anyone have any suggestions for what i can do to either find a substitute, or if anyone is selling one, because i don't want to spend $107 for it. i went to a local marina and they only sell keyed ignitions, which, in theory could work, but i feel like it'd get corroded way to easily. so if anyone has any suggestions, i'd really really appreciate it.

further testing

well, i decided because of the cost, to do some further tests on the switch. and i hooked up a regular light switch to the starter relay and it still had the problems. which makes me think that it's the relay, not the switch after all. is there a way to take apart the relay and try and fix it so i don't have to replace it? or any othre suggestions to check before i try anything with the relay?
