180SP Impeller Spline Lube...

I'm doing a 100 hr service on a 2012 180SP and its calling to lube the impeller splines. Based on what I'm seeing in the service manual, I need to pull the pump correct? Also...

Is there anything else I should do when I have it apart?
Anything to watch out for that the manual doesn't cover adequately? It seems like the manual doesn't give a clear list of prerequisites to lube these splines.

I've pulled and reinstalled pumps before on my old twin engine speedster so I'm just trying to make sure I have everything I need so I don't have this thing sitting in pieces any longer than needed. Thanks.

You've likely completed this task already, but it's pretty straight forward. Nothing special that I can think of.
You may as well pull the cone off and see if there's any water in there.
How's your wear ring? This would be the time to change it if it's needed.

Yup just some marine lube and go. Pretty easy
