My seadoo absolutely destroyed the motor. Both cases have holes in them, so I'm in need of some good used cases or brand new ones. Anywhere you guys would recommend to look ? I would also consider a whole motor, but I'm leaning more towards building up a new one so I know what I have.

I've also have been looking up some mods to do, while its out and apart. The supercharger on it, now was rebuilt last year. Would there be a chance it could be damaged aswell ?

I also have no clue how to post pictures.

1. Take pictures. 2. Copy them to your PC. 3. Answer to this thread and hover your mouse over the small icons just above the text box and you will find "insert image". 4. Click on Insert Image, then select your pictures then upload them. They will now show in your post. 5. Click on Post Quick Reply.

The thing is, I'm not on a computer. I'm using my phone, I tried to upload the pics with my phone and it wouldn't work. We don't have a Computer here at our house.

Anyways, I was looking around and I found a Company named sbt that remanufsctures engines. Has anyone ever done business with them ?

Those where the ones I was looking at. Seems like a pretty good price. For the exchange rate and shipping I would be an extra $1000. Still not bad at all though.

Most folks I know who go down your road start off with a good used block and rebuild it themselves using oem parts.

Yah that is my main plan, if I can find a good block that's what I will do.

What other blocks or years will work for me ?

Pictures, download either the dedicated APP for Seadoo Forum and or TapAtalk. Both are designed for the phone and make it very easy to post pics..

SBT, many have used them and you will find mixed reviews. The good, sent the engine in, got it rebuilt, installed it and all is good.

The bad, sent engine in never to see it again, fired up and knocked instantly, external parts not properly bolted on...

I suggest that you purchase the extra coverage if you buy a re-manned engine.

Thanks a lot for the advice Joe, my buddy that will be putting the motor together for me found a Company In Quebec, that sells motors for $4000 without core and accessories. Also comes with 1 year warranty.

Would anyone know if the block I need would also be used on different model seadoos and years ?
