After looking around a little more I have found a used speedster rahter than the brand new one I was going to purchase. The boat has an extended warranty until nov 2010....best warranty.. anyone have any exp with this extended warranty before? What is the diff between best and regular coverage? I hope I am making the right choice on this, but there is one thing I know for sure...the boat is cheaper! he is asking 18,500 for the boat which is in pretty good condition from what I can tell. Sat he is taking me for a test drive on the boat. Finally may have a boat. This seems like a reasonable price, right? ( 430 hp )

The factory seadoo extended warranty is called "BEST". On a new boat you can either buy the "BEST" warranty or the "BEST plus" warranty. The Latter covers all scheduled maintenance.

Is the used Speedster your looking at a 2008 model? If so I would imagine its a decent price for the 430hp model. Those are the supercharged engines so make certain you've got the new Supercharger washers in them. They've been a significant issue on the supercharged boats.

actually I was looking at 08 , now I am looking at an 06 with roughly 20-30 hrs....going to get the hours checked to make sure.
