My friends broke the pin that locks/unlocks the rear grab handle I think by attaching a rope to it or nearby it.
How/where can I get the part(s) to fix it (other than having my local shop do it?)
Is it difficult to repair? It looks like it's just a matter of taking off a nut but not sure.
Currently, it will not raise or lower (it's stuck in the down position.)

PS: I called my local shop just now and they don't carry parts to fix it. They said they only show the entire handle, no parts to fix it (at around $45).
