07 Seadoo GTI se Reverse issue

So this is my first post and im new here so forgive me if there is already a thread on this issue but i couldnt find what i was looking for so anyway.... My reverse cable locknut broke on my ski and no big deal i decided to pull the pump assembly out to give myself room to work and i replaced the locknut however now that everything is put back together whenever i put the ski in forward the lever doesnt go all the way down like it should but the bucket is in the correct position and also when i put it in reverse the lever goes all the way up but the bucket isnt quite all the way down. Do i need to adjust the cable or is there something else. Thanks everyone in advanced

I believe this is a 4-tec, so I'll move it to the 4-tec forum, if I'm wrong let me know and I'll move it back to the 2-stroke.

Adjust the cable to be a little longer and it should get you going.
