Hi. I have an 07 seadoo gti130 w only 5 hours. Has not ran , prob since new.
Even though the oil and coolant look fresh I plan on changing...along w new plugs.
I can drain the gas, what I don't know how to do is flush the fuel system, can't find much info on that.
I can maybe get away without doing so, but figured I should.
Other then that...anything I should check??
No idea if it was flushed after riding when those 5 hours were put on.
THanks!

Also does marine 10w40 and coolant differ from that an auto would use. I know plenty who use regular oil, and 50/50 prediluted, but figured there may be some additives for those fluids in a marine application?

Really? An '07 with only 5 hours on it? Crazy!

I would suggest a siphon pump to remove as much fuel from the tank as possible. Then you can fill it with fresh gas. No, you can't "get away without doing so."

Any fully synthetic 10w40 oil should work fine provided it meets the API specifications in the owner's manual. I don't use the Sea-Doo oil, and have never had any problems. The coolant needs to be an extended life OAT (organic additive technology) coolant. Again, refer to your owner's manual. If you don't have the manual, i highly suggest you download it and read it. You can also download the service manual. Follow the instructions in the service manual for putting the ski back in service from extended storage.

Yea it is crazy. I didn't mean get away without draining the gas, that I can do......what I don't know how to do is flush the system of the gas.....that's what I was referring to when I said maybe I can get away without doing that. I did download the manual, and of course if I call seadoo they will say i need to use their stuff. All the manual tells me about oil is it needs to be classified as SM, SL or SJ for API requirements. Wasn't sure if car oil fit that bill. similar situation w the coolant. Will have to check for the service manual that will tell me much more I think. Thanks!

You could probably trace the fuel lines from the fuel pump on top of the tank over to the throttle body. Pull that line after you have fresh gas in it. Put the end into a container and then put the key on to cycle the pump. Do it a time or two to flush that line. What was beyond that is hopefully a small enough amount or gone that it won't matter. Good luck with it. I hope it turns out as good as it seems like it can and you will have a cherry of a ride.

So your saying pull the fuel rail? I assume the injectors will pull right off and spray out the lines that way. That's a good idea i'll look into that. May as well change the fuel filter while I am at it. I knew it was going to require some things when I got it....but it is mint, ski to trailer....and I got it for a great deal. Thanks..

Ended up just changing the plugs, drained the oil, new oil filter, drained the old gas.....and with a puff of smoke she fired right up. I was going to change the fuel filter but could not figure how to access it. It would have been easy of the storage compartment over top popped out, but it wasn't that easy. Some sort of rivets holding it in. Guess it didn't need it anyway. Now I am at 12 hours! :) Thanks all
