Okay, I'm no newby to sea doos, but I am with the 4-tec supercharged engines. We just bought this sea doo, took to the lake to try it out. Engine oil was overfull, so we pumped out enough to show full, but not overfull. Hit the water for about and 1 1/2 hour and the oil light comes on, beeps, we park it, check the oil and it's barely on the dipstick, so we load her up and there is about an inch of oil in the hull. Any ideas????

Thanks,

could be a few things the most common is the oil sensors there is one under the intake i believe you can see it with a mirrior, i actually had a oil leak on mine and it was comming out of the seal where the shaft slides into the motor,

there is a bearing/seal assembly that attaches to the pto that the xhaft slides through and then there is a seal inside of that the one circled on the left is the bearing/seal the one on the right is the coupler but to the far left in the circle is the little seal, you have to find where its leaking first but check those areas

Thanks!

I called my dealer, he said the same thing, rear main bearing/seal out. I was hoping it was something simple. Looks a little more advanced than I want to take on, probably take it to the dealer. Thanks for your post.

i mean u have to pull the jet pump and supercharger if they do it for $500 thats not bad the seal/bearing assembly was like $140 by it self, so $500 doesnt sound to bad maybe they are quoting low because season is almost over, down here in florida you can ride all year so u never get a break just make sure they dont hose you. but $500 sounds like a good price
