04 RXT buying advice

First ski. Know nothing about working on them but am handy. Found what seems like a steal(2k) but have no idea.

Guy said it ran perfect. 140 hrs. Rebuilt SC recently. Started flashing a code and now "will crank but not run". Must have hooked it up to a code reader because he said something about low voltage - compass code. This machine has no compass.

I really want to buy it and don't mind spending some money to fix it but I'm curious if a problem like this has the potential to be a big money fix.

Any advice is appreciated

I would not even think about buying a non running ski. If you buy one that’s running and in good shape you will have ample opportunity in the near future when something breaks to work on it.

To me it all depends $$$ if it a couple hundred with trailer Yeah, No for $2K if Not Running, I`ve seen people buy so call good machines $4k and up then not even 6-months later they have put more than $1500 into machine, Also that Not a RXT, GTX and RXT and other model you can push Mode button 5 times it will display codes following with the select button, No code reader, Buds or CanDoo Pro.
