The Machine starts great. idles great. when you slowly squeeze in to the throttle, about 10 to 40 mph. it stumbles and bogs. sound like it's half way under water. As soon as it gets to 40mph or so.... tons of power and climbs fast to 60...65 mph. just bought the machine. was told fresh rebuild, new computer, new driveshaft.

Before I took it out I put in new spark plugs and fresh fuel.

any help with the 10mph to 40mph problrm would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

I would start by checking compression. Should be 135 to 140psi.
Start ski and then shut it off with the start/stop button listening for the rave valves to cycle two times.
Check fuel pressure. Should be 107psi.
Check MPEM and make sure it is the correct part number and year for your ski.
Check rectifier by installing a volt meter on the battery and starting the ski rev to 3500 to 4000rpms while reading the meter. Should be 13.5 to 14.5vdc.

All good places to start.

ok thanks. I was thinking if it was fuel pressure or compression. would the machine idle poorly and not run great up top and get the 60 MPH?

I was going to remove the rave valves today and clean those.

Check the part number of the MPEM (new computer) and make sure it is correct for the year. Earlier MPEMs are different.
Maybe throw a new rectifier in it (only OEM) and see if it clears up. Letting too much AC voltage into the system make these skis do weird things. If that clears it up there is a good chance the tps will clear up as well. Do the voltage test I suggested first.
