It's been a while, but need help. Changed the oil and filter; has sat a week now it won't crank. Dess beeps once then 4x and says "sensor". (oil pressure sensor?). Sitting in Havasu with nothing to do. (at least in the water)
Thanks as always!

whens the last time you had the battery tested?

1 beep = key not programmed it..??

+1 about the battery...

Advice: long time ago, my mechanic advised me to start with the cheap parts when i dont know what caused the problem... I follow that rule since i do any repair by myself... And i know, i know... It makes all the sense of the world...

It's good 2 weeks ago for the oil change to turn it over to pump the oil. Been on trickle charger since.

i still am leaning towards the battery.. clean the DESS key and post with a pencil eraser and check all connections for a clean and tight fit... if that fails then i would have the battery tested

Battery is at 12.6v Now what?

if the battery is good and you cleaned the key and the post.. then if you are using the correct key (id assume you are but you never know )

one long beep is key not recognized.. could be a bad DESS post... i really doubt this happened from the oil change.

FIXED Wrong key. Told him to mark them so it does not happen. He lost 1 day at Havasu. Thanks. I'm sitting in Austin trying to help him...Thanks all!

if both skis are owned by the same person then if you have access to a candoo..i believe you can program both keys to run both skis.. so no mishaps happen again in the future.. if not a simple line down the float with a permanent marker will do

glad you got it worked out for minimal dollars spent

It's amazing how much better it runs when you use the right key!!! Glad it was an easy fix or in this case solution. Now he wi have to stay an extra day to make up for it!!! I would.
