last summer i was having issues with my ski not running at top speed so i started adding seafoam to the tank to dry out the injectors and this seemed to work. It was running fine the last time i rode it last yr. When I winterized it I filled the tank up and added stabil to the gas. I took it out for the 1st time this yr. and added the seafoam to the gas as well and now it won't even plane out. It bogs starts cutting out at 4700 rpms. It acts as if there is trash in the line and it is clogged up. I cleaned the plugs and then changed the plugs and this did nothing. I pulled out the injectors and they looked ok and it still didnt want to run right. The maintenance light is always flashing also which it did this last yr too. I also tried to crank it with just one plug in and it will crank and run with the back plug in but if i leave just the front one in it wont crank. Any ideas??!!

Is the engine reving up? If it is... then you need a carbon seal and/or a wear ring.

If it's not reving up... I would check the fuel pump for proper pressure. The Di engines are a strange beast, and when they start to have issues... it's hard to nail down... but most of the time, if it's running at all... it's low fuel pressure.

nah i don't think its the wear ring b/c the engine isnt revving up like it should. when i hold the throttle wide open its not tacking up like it should. sounds like its bogging out

OK... not reving... and sounds like it's bogging.

Check the fuel pressure.

You have to put a "T" fitting in the hose between the pump, and the fuel rail. You are looking 27 psi when you hook up the lanyard... 107 psi while cranking and running. (+- 2 psi)

Also, check the output of the TPS. It could be off, and that's why it won't idle.
