I have had my 2002 GTX DI about 2 months. It ran great for 2 weeks and since then performance has gone steadily down. When I first got it, it lept out of the water & quickly revved up to 6500 RPM's. Then it began hesitating when I gave it full throttle & onbly reached 5700 RPM's tops. I began using 89 octane gas & put a can of seafoam in as well. It got worse & now will not go over 5,000 RPM's and goes up and down from 4,000 to 5,000 at full throttle and is very slow to reach the 4,000 RPM's at take off. It feels like there is something restricting the fuel flow or maybe a dirty injection system. Is there anything I can try myself before I take it to a dealer and spend a fortune. I checked the plugs and they are clean and were just changed. There are no codes showing and it starts & idles fine, just does not run good. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
