02 gtx crankcase over pressurizing!!!!!

im working on a gtx 4tec and this thing is pressurizing the case to the point of blowing the oring off the oil filter and running like crap. i checked the tops valve and it works ok but what operates the valve? is it the sensor below the the valve or does it get its operation from the ecm. any input would be awesome!

Do you mean that it is blowing the o ring off the cap that goes over the oil filter cartridge?

yes its blowing the oring. i found out the ops sensor was causing the tops valve to ov erpressurize the crankcase. good thing my customer had the factory manual and i didnt need a buds unit!!! thak god
