Hello all,
First time posting here, I have an issue with my 01 Seadoo GTX DI, and hopefully someone has had some experience here that could lead me in the right direction.
The PTO air injector circuit is not energizing at all. I have a CandooPro and both air injectors will function if plugged into the MAG circuit and energized with the Candoo. I got the ski for cheap because it was running rough on one cylinder, and using the shop manual and no Candoo, I was able to find the PTO air injector had failed, I replaced it with a brand new OEM injector, and still running on a single cylinder. Both wires from the MPEM to the injector read 0 ohms so not a broken wire or bad connection. Both injectors are good as they both work on the MAG circuit. The Candoo is reporting a PTO air injector circuit failure, but shows as OCCURRED, rather than ACTIVE. From reading the manual it seems that if it was a currently occurring issue it would show as ACTIVE. I have been searing around on the forums for a day or so and I haven't seen anyone experience a similar issue.
I have narrowed it down in my mind to an air injector driver in the MPEM.
Has anyone successfully repaired the air injector circuit in the MPEM, if yes, where on the board is it located so I don't have to dig it all apart. It would stink to have to replace the MPEM, but if that is what it takes I would still be in the black on this ski. Also, with the Candoo, if I change the MPEM it would have a different Hull ID and would take another license, is that correct? With the home version of the Candoo can I change the HID to match the ski if I do end up with a used MPEM.
Thanks,
Tom
