00 GTX Won't start! Help!!!!

I bought this at an auction and it was my bosses, so I know the wear and tear. It has a new motor (1 yr old) and I rode it a year ago to be sure it was operating properly. Then he started going through divorce and it sat at his house for a year. Not ran at all.

I have since replaced the battery, spark plugs, new gas, checked fuses, had the lanyard reprogrammed (just in case) and made sure that everything is plugged up.

When I plug the lanyard in I get two short beeps. Then I push the start button and NOTHING happens at all. No sound, no click, just absolute quiet. It seems like it would be something easy, but maybe I'm not doing something right. I also checked and got a good reading on the battery cable to the back of the jet ski but the one to the front gave me no reading????

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Fuse?

Did you check the fuses? If you get the 2 beeps, that means the mpem has identified the lanyard and it's ready to start.

Check the connections to the solenoid in the rear electrical box. You'll find your fuses in there too.

Are the fuses in the rear electrical box covered by a black box that has litlle latches on it? I was afraid to get in there and mess with it. Also, is that where the relay is?

O.K.

I pulled the fuse in the electrical box and it is fine. Still nothing. The wire to the relay from the battery test good but the wire from the relay to the switch does not. So do you think I have a bad relay or a bad switch?:banghead:
