How much water? Does the humming sound like it is coming from the rear of the ski above the drive shaft? If so, open the rear Electrical Box (E-BOX) and check for water. The humming is most likely the relay on the E-BOX

It sounds like your DESS key or post is going.try cleaning the contacts with an eraser. If not, get another DESS key and see if it beeps consistently.
