    I would suggest check the engine first if it turnover or not and if the compression is still high on >120 PSI on all cylinders, it's worth the money to repair, it just a matter of looking for parts and waiting for shipment parts to arrive at home.

    I think you have to check your TPS voltage... You can check it with manual instructions on proper TPS testing, you can purchase the wire connector to be more easier to check the TPS voltage.... it has the specs on the manual..... If it still has no problem then maybe your fuel injector... Check...

    If you are talking about the electronic fuel pump in the VST, yes this is the actual pump, same one that I use my self to repair it DIY through manual specs and guidance... This is the same pump that I use that makes my Challenger run after 5 years of not running at all from the original...

    You have a gen. 1 engine then, there should be a stator under the flywheel... buy a manual on this forum or paperback manual easier for you to check and go or print the manual here on this forum very helpful just make sure it is gen 1 engine manual.

    Probably your impeller, wear ring problem there.... check it out... seals and space between wear ring and impeller, something caught underneath stays in the impeller, it will impede the water flow and decrease your speed... check your impeller and take a look at it.

    I believe I have same engine with you with my Mercury V6, I have challenger 2000, Just look at the cylinder psi 120 above is good, check engine turn over, check idle rpm 1200 when load over the water, check rpm WOT 6000 and speed >45 mph at WOT is good. check engine sputtering.
