Check all your exhaust hose for cracks/splits. I had an exhaust elbow crack just under the clamp so I didn't realize until I took the piece off to look around.

Apparently they loosen the bolts on the jet pump and make sure the steering elements are working properly and there's no play in the system. The seadoo manual may have some range that is acceptable for steering play. Whatever they did it's definitely tighter and more accurate steering

I had my steering adjusted to "within spec" this spring so maneuvering into the dock space is much easier this season. It's also a straight shot into the dock this season which definitely helps with the jet boats wandering ways at idle or when there's some waves on the lake.

After leaving the marina I realized I should have docked on the ratchet side, but I scampered on to the back of the boat and was able to ratchet it tight while leaving over the edge.

My 2009 challenger does the same thing just north of its 1800 idle. If I coast into the marina @ 2500rpm it'll swing up or down 50-200rpm but goes away once it gets into the 3200 range. No issues at 6000+ rpm so could just be normal for these boats. Just had the boat out this weekend and romped...
