    Dimples /bubbles

So this is wierd. Summerized and cleaned my 2007 GTX 4-tecs. I noticed on the lower part of the footwell, just above well, for about 18", these small dimples on the surface, like bubbles. Try to push them out they dont move. Has the Gel coat been compromised? I never use hard chemicals to clean...

    Spare Spark Plugs

Sorry do not agree, they rarely fail. It is another problem that affects the plug, not the plug itself. Plugs can last forever, if the gap is increased by wear, just regap. So much $$ wasted on replacing good parts.

    Spare Spark Plugs

Forgot to mention 200 hours is equivalent to 12,000 miles. 60 x 200

    Spare Spark Plugs

I tend to disagree, I could maybe believe that because the Rotax RPM is run in the 7000 and it could wear the plugs quicker. But the 4 stroke fuel injected engine is the same whether car or marine. Imho it would be difficult under normal operation to foul the plugs, air/fuel is always adjusted...

    Spare Spark Plugs

It seems different now too with some car engines, at least 100,000 kms before plug change.

    Spare Spark Plugs

If I remember a plug change on a 4 tec is not required till 200 hours, in the brp shop manual.

Next Steps to Problem Solve a Coolant Leak?

Did they test your coolant mixture with a hydrometer? More water than antifreeze I believe would cause your problem. Also as mentioned your rad cap could be defective.

    Change Anti-freeze change

Thanks lineofsight, looking at the manual it's part of the winterizing and I thought really? Maybe 200 hours but once a year? Anyway the level hasn't changed in 3 seasons and I tested it when warm and it was good for - 45. So I should be good. I store them outside in northern Ontario.

    2003 Challenger 1800

Thank you, doing some research everyone says stay away from the 90's and 120's, but 200's and up are ok especially the 240's. Ok, if they put BRP 4-tecs in the Challengers I am in!

    Change Anti-freeze change

Hi, BRP maintenance indicates that the Anti-freeze should be replaced at 200 hours, good idea? Easy job? Thanks.

    2003 Challenger 1800

Hello looking at a challenger 2003 1800 V6, in the pictures it looks mint. Anything I should be looking for other than the obvious? Anything specific to this year/model? Price asking is $10.5k CDN. Thanks!
