Google a strut repair guy in your area. If they can't fix it they should be able to sell you a replacement. I'm sure someone on here will chime in with a replacement part number.

I only asked as I have a set from my 97 challenger 1800 I could have sent you. I removed mine when I bought it as the weedless system had been removed and the grates were sikaflexed in the up position

Looks and sounds like when you're done it will be showroom condition. What are your plans for the intake grates? I assume the 99 has weedless?

I bet I'd hate it in 2 minutes too. Lol I'd rather have the original engine, but that's not a possibility.

Nick, I used to love F-zero!! Lol The only reason I was thinking 787 is because I have an engine/pump/wiring from a 97 gsx I was keeping as a spare for the challenger 1800.

The one I bought already has had an engine and pump swap. No idea what it out of though. It was supposed to be all original!!! So at this stage I'm not sure if I'll re sell of do a 787 conversion.

I'm on my way to pick it up now. Will see how a 787 sits in there when I get it home :) I've heard of little kawi motors in them.
