XPS pump oil

Ordered a bottle and received half empty. Will return but am wondering if this is enough to do the job on my 1996 XP

That looks like a quart bottle? I think 1/4 quart is enough. I just fill my squirt-can oiler with mercruiser premium sterndrive gear oil since I change it every year and one oiler fill is enough.

I don't think 3oz is enough, the exact amount is listed in the shop manual if I recall.

I just looked, couldn't find it in my manual. Sorry
