Hi everyone been a couple years since I've been on and owned a ski. I just purchased a 96 xp last night. I took it out for a water test. The ski started up ok as soon as I would hit the gas it would hesitate then go get up on plane, bog out and die but would start right back up and continuously do that. The owner before me replaced the fuel lines and said carbs were cleaned last year. Should I redo his fuel lines and have the carbs cleaned and hope the problem is solved? I was also thinking about replacing the wear ring and jet pump with the kit on eBay. I just want to get the ski to run and be reliable right now just not sure where my issue lies.
