xp 800 hard start

I have 2 97 xp800 that are very hard to start i change the gray fuel line clean the carb change spark plug and wire,both run fine after they start but alot of the time the battery will come dead before it start,but if it start in the morning it will work all day long.

Are you using the choke at all?

Hard starts are symptoms of either too much Rotary valve clearance or too much
fuel in lower case. Do ya have a Shop Manual?

the rotary the cover or the engine case look new i did the tune up just on 1 but .i will do the other when 1 work,about the gaz in the lower case do you think that the carb will drain overnight
