Hi! Just bought 1994 XP650 
. Had it running for two hours ant then stopped going over 1500 revs. Took it into the garrage and now not going over 4500. Just backfired fiew times and thats it. Also revs counter not working like it should. What I did up to now: Stripped down and cleand the karbs, Checked coils for phisical damage (right job to remove flywheel). New spark plugs. I think it can't be the fuel supply problem. I've used empty bottle with petrol (and oil) some new fuel pipes and still got the same problem.
Please help me with some ideas, couse I don't know what to do next.
And it's a little bit too expensive toy just for a one day of fun.
