WTB ASAP MPEM for 1999 Challeneger

is it pop'n the 5amp fuse? If so, contact Allthingscustom, on this site.

Or if creative enough, get 2-mpems from 787 skis, and wire them in. you wont have the nuetral safety switch, but who cares.

Not popping any fuses... Just not giving spark to the right side motor 90% of time. I have taken my mpem apart and saw two burnt traces. I fixed them and put it back in and still nothing. So, I guess it has done some damage to ic chip or something. I tested all caps, diods, and resistors on the board and none test bad in circuit.

Do you have any clue or pointers on doing the two mpems?!?!?! I have thought abouth this but then i have thought it would work or i would have difficultly getting wires matched up since it is almost impossible get mpem schematics.

Thanks
Jimmy

really, all you need are 2-96xp mpems. Any 787 mpems, that are in the grey box, with all leads, coming from it. 1-plug to each mag cover, the other to the rear ebox. The rectifiers will already be in boxes, other than that, if your able to get manuals, then trace wires of each from tachs, and take to corrisponding wires, to the mpems. Thats all you need, bud. Hell, you dont even need rpm gauge, but would be cool.

Also, forgot, you'll need the 2-dess post, but who cares...

Sounds good... but theres alot of flags that come to mine. One is all the gauges... fuel, rpm, battery, fuel light, oil light, overheating, auto bilge pump, etc all run through the mpem.

The jet boats coil box has 10k res plug wires going to the spark plugs unlike 5k that the skis have.

fuel,rpm...etc gauges, will all work. The xp's..etc, have same gauges.

As for the resis plugs, 787 motor, is a motor, the relay, coil..etc, all the same.

Just say'n, the "swap" can be done, and very easily, just some time.
